Kathy Pehlke, Certified Doula (DONA)

Thank you for visiting Birth Journey.  

My name is Kathy Pehlke and I believe that the birth of a child is a miraculous experiences in a person/couple's life. Each birth is unique and holds its own experiences to be remembered.

I recognize the birth of each new baby as a life changing event and wish to support mothers and their families through this important transition in their lives. 

I aspire to help cherish the experience of childbirth. I am truly honored to be an invited guest and to share in this special moment with each new family.

I am the mother of two sons and will always remember my birth experiences, as all mothers will forever.  So I truly enjoy helping woman have a positive experience for those lifetime memories. You will always remember HOW YOU WERE TREATED as you prepare to become a mother.

Birth Journey maintains an outstanding standard of professional care that is respected throughout the birth community by families, nurses, midwives and doctors.

I practice collaboratively. This means that you have a primary doula caring for you, however you also have another doula available to attend you in the unlikely event that your primary doula cannot be at your birth.
